Summary

Patients with multiple myeloma and monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance face a significantly higher risk of COVID-19 breakthrough infections following a third vaccine dose compared to matched controls. While those with multiple myeloma remain at elevated risk for severe disease, patients with monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance do not show an increased risk for severe outcomes after boosting.
