Cardio-Oncology
Fillmore and his collaborators investigate the intersection of oncologic treatment and cardiovascular health, with a focus on predicting and mitigating malignancy-associated vascular complications. His work includes the development of machine learning models to identify cardiovascular risk in prostate cancer patients and the exploration of metabolic pathways, such as the tryptophan-kynurenine axis, to reduce venous thrombogenicity in colon cancer. Additionally, he has proposed frameworks for integrating large language models into clinical workflows to enhance the precision of cardiotoxicity monitoring and patient care.
