Clinical Oncology
Fillmore and his collaborators focus on optimizing oncologic care through the integration of large-scale data analytics and the refinement of prostate cancer surveillance strategies. His work includes the development of Learning Health System infrastructure to translate real-world data into clinical decision-making and the use of sentiment analysis to monitor patient experiences in lung cancer. Additionally, his research evaluates the efficacy of active surveillance for prostate cancer, demonstrating the limitations of magnetic resonance imaging in replacing confirmatory biopsies to avoid the underdiagnosis of high-grade disease.
