Cross-Sectional Study

Fillmore has utilized cross-sectional study designs to evaluate clinical risk factors and the efficacy of patient assessment tools in veteran populations. His work has specifically examined the risk factors associated with thick melanoma and the limitations of the International Myeloma Working Group Frailty Score. These studies indicate that existing scoring systems may lack the sensitivity required for clinical decision-making in complex, real-world older adult cohorts.
