Disulfiram

Fillmore has investigated the potential prophylactic effects of disulfiram against SARS-CoV-2 infection. His research indicates that patients using this medication for alcohol use disorder experienced a significantly lower risk of contracting COVID-19 compared to those not receiving the drug. These findings suggest that disulfiram may reduce both the incidence and severity of the disease, providing a basis for further clinical trial evaluation.
