Fracture Incidence

Fillmore has examined the longitudinal trends of fracture incidence among veterans with ankylosing spondylitis. His research demonstrates a significant increase in fracture rates over a twenty-year period, suggesting that the adoption of tumor necrosis factor inhibitors has not mitigated the risk of fractures in this patient population.
