Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Fillmore has examined the utility of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as a tool for monitoring prostate cancer patients under active surveillance and for the standardized collection of clinical data. His research explores whether MRI can serve as a reliable alternative to confirmatory biopsies in reducing diagnostic burden. Additionally, he has developed natural language processing algorithms to efficiently extract PI-RADS scores and other imaging metrics from electronic health records to support large-scale clinical research.
