Mortality Prediction

Fillmore has focused on improving mortality prediction through the integration of electronic frailty indices and advanced computational imaging. His work demonstrates that frailty scores are independent predictors of death in older adults with multiple myeloma and non-small cell lung cancer, while also validating these tools across transitions in diagnostic coding. Additionally, he has utilized transfer learning and the external validation of prognostic models to increase the accuracy of survival estimates in patients with lung cancer.
