Performance Status

Fillmore has investigated the impact of performance status and frailty on the delivery and efficacy of immunotherapy in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. His research demonstrates that frail patients are less likely to receive intensive immunotherapy, irrespective of their overall performance status. Furthermore, he found that while frailty is associated with decreased survival among patients with good performance status, it does not significantly alter survival outcomes for those with poor performance status.
