Thrombocytopenia

Their research demonstrates that moderate-to-severe reductions in platelet counts at diagnosis are associated with inferior overall survival. These findings suggest that baseline platelet counts serve as an accessible marker for identifying high-risk patients regardless of whether they receive standard therapy or stem cell transplantation.
